My heart is crying and burning for stray lives. I Saw a worst accident case and on the spot death of an innocent mute life.

 

I want to share few things. This is for all our strays/ homeless animals who are suffering the most and unwilling hearts. Why they are born to die !? Human has left them with no place to call home. Things are to animals is the same as always. Though they are God's creatures, living beings  like we are. They too have a body, heart and a soul like we have. But the real pity is people ignore them, hit them, kick them, hurt them, poison them, kill them, treat them in the worst ways they can because they are scared of these innocent beings. They think animals will hurt them so hate them. 

 

But the real pity is that the animals are on the first place are the ones who are scared. Why do human do not understand they too have body, blood, borns and heart. The fear is worst than death for animals. As a living being we fear pains and sufferings, we want to live and not to die then how can we forget about them that they too are living beings and want happiness, want to live not to die !?

I don not know what innocent living beings have done ? My heart melts when I see in their eyes a lot love, hopes and pain.

 

This is betrayal of a heart, a soul that deeply trusted in everything on humans. They have only us. They want to be loved ones and a corner in our hearts. They are dependent on us. We are their world. We alone are the centre of their hearts.

They are most adorable creatures.They have true pureness of love, they love truly and deeply. They do not know you are rich or poor, ugly or beautiful, they only know that you are their world and how to love unconditionally to you.

 

Let all human should understand God has created all living beings. He created us as a human being, give us voice. He created other living beings but without voice. So they should not require our permission to live on earth. God has given this right to them too. Being a human this is our responsibility to take care of another living beings who have no voice. Why should innocent lives suffer !?

 

Such short little lives they have to spend with humans. Human should wholeheartedly accept them. They need our help and protection to survive. Support and care for a stray/homeless animal by getting heart warm treatment of the human society.

 

There is a lot lack of awareness and attention. Everybody should come forward to help these sweet beings and precious souls. Work together will make a change. Such awareness not only required to be appreciated but also to be followed and implemented.

 

Choose  to be kind and help and save the lives of mute innocent living beings, they have only you. They should not betrayed/ killed by humans. They should be loved, cared, protect by us.

 

I do respect and love to all kind souls who love and care for strays/ homeless animals and are voice of them.

Our Sweet Indian Breed Puppy Leo Got Adopted !

Good news.

 

Leo got adopted. He is a our sweet Indian breed puppy (stray). He got adopted yesterday (17th March) by Jasmine Darukhanawalla and her loving family from Andheri ( Mumbai). Thanks to them for giving a sweet home, their love and care to an innocent mute life.

Thanks to Vikram Shastri who fostered the puppy and took a lot care of him.

 

Very special thanks to Daisy who put her the best efforts in this adoption and helped me so much for the kid.

May God bless all.

Our millions angels are still waiting for a home and family. They desperately need our help.

Remember, rather than buying a pet from breeder/pet shop consider saving a stray life by adopting. Take steps to make this world a safer place for all animals specially our homeless stray animals. Arthritis in dogs :

Arthritis in dogs is very painful disease just like in humans. It can develop at any age of dog and can make dog's life miserable. It is an inflammation of the joints. Joints are the site of the junction of two or more bones and the joints of the skeletal system are responsible for co-ordinating the movement of a dog. All activities of dog like jumping, running, etc require the use of him/her's leg joints. Arthritis cause the severe pain for the dog because it causes stiffness in the joints and muscles. So early diagnosis can save dog from discomfort.

Types of Arthritis:There are two types of arthritis in dogs.

Degenerative arthritis (DJD)/ Osteoarthritis - which result from damage to the cartilage cushioning the bones of the joint. Cartilage  protects the bones that make up the joints . Normal stress from years on abnormal joints can cause destruction of the cartilage. Hip dysplasia and malformation of the hip sockets, loose knee caps, trauma are the example of normal stress on abnormal joints. Constant jumping,stretching,injuries because of accident or fall, are the examples. Since cartilage has no nerve, it lost ability to protect the bone surfaces and the damage can progress with no outward symptoms.

Inflammatory Joint Disease ( IJD) - can be caused by infection/ by underlying immune-mediated diseases. Fungal infection, bacteria, tick-borne disease also can be the cause of inflammatory joint disease. It affects multiple joints. It cause fever, stiffness, anorexia ( lack or loss of appetite for food/ desire to lose weight by not eating food.

One more rare type of arthritis is Rheumatoid arthritis. It is rare in dogs.  

Types of arthritis can be distinguished by their causes and symptoms.

Causes :
Age, obesity, hip dysplasia and related to it diseases, injuries, improper nutrition, poor breeding practices, pain in the legs, etc.

Symptoms :
Stiffness, intermittent lameness, swollen joints, reluctance to move/ rise, depression, lethargy, irritability, weight gain, painful joints, sleeps/rest more than usual, loss of appetite, aggression when joints are touched, disinterest in physical activity, visible joint deformities, while walking abnormal stance, limping, lagging behind on walks, yelping when touched, difficulty in changing position, etc.
Dog arthritis usually so mild and appear gradually then slowly worsen over time that's why owners/ animal lover people may miss them. Affected dog may become three-legged lame.

Diagnosis :
Because infectious joint disease and immune-mediated joint disease call for different treatment protocols so no doubt diagnosis must be accurate. A complete physical examination  can help to see the location of dog's joint pain. MRI ( Magnetic Resonance Imaging)  and CT ( Computed Tomography ) will help to diagnosis arthrisis in dog. Also it may be diagnosis by present symptoms, history, sample and analysis of synovial fluid and lubricating inside of the joint capsule may help to diagnosis of infected joints.

 

Treatments :
There are Surgical and non-surgical types of treatment in dog's orthritis. These options can improve in dog's comfort. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug ( NSAID's,drugs like Rimadyl, Deramaxx are the example which may advised by vet), vaccines, surgery, joint fluid modifiers, natural cures, etc.
According to veterinary doctor If surgical/surgery is not advisable then vet may suggest for non-surgical treatments like massage therapy, weight management, diet, supplements, acupuncture, rest, etc. which are the best ways to improve dog's comfort in orthritis.

There are some Natural cure treatments like massage oils, herbs, vegetable's intake, these are the natural remedies which will help in dog's arthritis. But be sure, in dog's arthritis any type of treatment surgical/non-surgical/natural cure, should be given under veterinary care only.

 

Animal lovers and pet lovers should be aware of all diseases of dogs/cats/stray animals. All diseases are painful. Arthritis in dogs is really a worse disease.

Urgent help needed for pups to save their lives

Kindly see pictures, and see the condition of puppy died in construction site crushed by trucks which comes to supply cements for construction.

These puppies were up for adoption when they were fifteen days old, but we couldnt find any positive response from the people. We just started feeding them whatever possible. As there were three female dogs, who have given birth at same site area. But this female who was scared to humans. We tried a lot to make her friendly but she was too scared but she was not on fault because people thrown her out with her six little puppies ( ten days old) from the school compound.

Here are the pictures of puppy out of six crushed by the truck badly two days back, and also we found one puppy 's dead body near the marriage hall compound.

Same way we found four puppies dead out of six, now only two left behind in such poor and pitiable condition .Watchmen of nearest buildings are threatening them with sticks when they try to get in for search of food and water as in these construction site where they are surviving is, no food no water.

Both puppies were hidden on a 12th floor of one tower. We have just rescued them. They were so much scared and since last two-three days they were hungry. They are vomiting and are in a bad condition.

We are not sure how long these two will survive more as we request to come forward and help us for two little puppies. We want to shift them at a  safer place.

Here trucks are coming every hour to load the construction material, its hard to say they might come under trucks as this white puppy died.

The owner (old lady) of 2 pets ( Jimmy and Whity), died at her flat & her body was lying unattended for more than 5 days in a decomposed state. These 2 pets were by the side of the owner's body for 5 days without food & water to drink. When the neighbours noticed the stench smell coming from the flat, they had to inform the police and forcebly open the door and tried to remove the owner's decomposed body, but these 2 pets did not allow anyone to touch their owner's body so the neighbours had to sought the help of an NGO to remove the 2 pets from the flat so that they could take away the dead body.

As the relatives of the owner, refused to take the pets with them.And NGO hand overed Jimmy and Whity, to a kind soul.Since then that kind soul have been giving them shelter to overcome the trauma.

Important Information About Hyperactivity In Dog

Hyperactivity in your pet (dog)

Symptoms : aggressiveness, impulsiveness, restless, distracted easily, inability, constantly chase its tail, abnormal behaviour, licking its feet, spinning in circles, barking constantly and some similar behaviours.

Reasons : There are various reasons of hyperactivity in a dog.

Like hearing or vision problem, less exercise, lack of space to move freely, less cared and loved by owner, natural personality, etc physical and emotional factors can be the reasons.

Treatment for Hyperactive pet (dog) - Do's and Dont's

§  A hyperactive dog can be treated through prescribed medication such as anti-anxiety drugs. They can be treated with Dexedrine, they are used for treating the same condition in humans.

§  Always Remember - Pup are curious, exited and full of vim chew, bite, taste, everything they can get in their mouth. They do not have opposable thumbs so they use mouth to manipulate and examine all the objects around. It is up to us to teach them.

§  Setup a strict routine from the start. Without routine pup became stressed, hyper, unhappy. So schedule for pet so that it knows it is time to eat, walk, nature’s call, sleep, time to play. In this way he knows exactly what is expected of him.

§  With a hyperactive pup, don’t loose your patience. Don’t shout at him at all. Shouting, anger, frustration will cause pup to get more mischievious and hyper, aggressive, frighten. If you stay calm and consistent, your pup will learn from you and will become calm and consistence

§  It is important to set up some house rules and stict to it.

§  Speak basic pet commonds in a firm tone of voice to get your pet attention. Use an authoritative tone of voice and differ from your normal speechtone so pet should recognize commands.

§  Repeat name and every word then slowly praise... he will understand what you are saying.

§  On your pet’s mischief, bad behaviour, say NO, in simple but firm voice and then command. Slowly he will understand.

§  If your pet has lots of energy, take it out for a walk in open area, park. The large area will give your pet enough space to play, exercise and walk. It will consume your pet’s a lot of energy, leaving it exhausted and he will be calm.

§  Reward your pet if it obeys and follows your orders.

§  Feed your pet a quality food. Avoid masalas, oil, sugar, other sweet food in its meal as diet also plays a significant role in his behaviour.

§  Its all up to you so just ignore your pet’s hyperactivity, stay calm and consistent and see how he settles down.

Ways you can help stray animals and birds

These simple acts of kindness can go a long way in saving and bettering the lives of stray animals and birds.

Take the initiative today.

• Feed stray animals and birds. To animals you can give – milk, bread, roti, vegetables, biscuits and other non-masala food items. To birds, you can offer grains ( like jowar and bajra )
• Keep water for them. It is not only during summer that animals need drinking water. A large number of stray animals and birds die due to dehydration. Like humans, they need water and food everyday. Please put up water bowls for them on house roof, window, balcony, car parking lot, road-side, park, etc.

• Do not dispose left-over food and kitchen waste in polythene bags as animals choke on these bags.
• Oppose the use of animals and birds for entertainment. The video below made my blood boil. It shows callous treatment of an unsuspecting donkey - all in the same of business promotion by a company in Russia.

• Do not cage animals and birds.
• Before you drive your vehicle, look under it to ensure that there is no animal there. Dogs and cats are in the habit of sleeping under vehicles and get badly hurt or even killed in the process. So you start your vehicle, wait for some time before putting it in the gear. This will give time animal to run away.
• Oppose the cruelty against animals. You can take legal action against cruelty.

• Keep phone numbers of local animal shelters and hospitals handy for any emergencies.
• Help strays by being kind to them, funding causes, rescuing them, adopting, fostering, feeding, and in any other way.

Help animals not out of pity but love and compassion.
